My BIG pool day!

I had so much fun yesterday! I went to GiGi and Papa Guess's house to swim. I love the water! It reminds me of when I was born! It was a little cold at first, but then I got used to it. In fact, I got so used to it, I fell asleep in mommy's arms while she was feeding me in the pool. It was fun to splash around and kick. Mommy told me that I had to wear this hat so I wouldn't get sun burned! Thanks momma. You're always looking out for me!

This is Mommy's favorite picture. I was deep in thought on what do I do when I have to go potty? I was worried that my diaper wouldn't work in this bathtub, and then what???

Look at me mommy! I'm taking a bath with clothes on!!! This is such a cool idea!

Here I am asleep in mommy's arms in the pool. My toes looked like prunes when I got out, but I felt sooo relaxed and refreshed. I would recommend this to all of my baby friends! I like to cover my eyes when mommy feeds me my baba. And it worked really well in the pool to keep the sun out of my eyes!

Pearly Whites!!!

See my 2 teeth! I got both of them within 3 days of eachother. And mommy and daddy wonder why I wasn't as happy that week! HELLO! You try getting 2 new teeth. Mommy even brushes them every morning and night so I can have shiny, white teeth. Thanks momma.

My new bathrobe! I feel pretty cool in it! I went swimming for the very first time at my friends house and I LOVED it. It was like taking a really really really big bath. I can't wait to go swimming again.

Hi momma! Look at how big I'm getting. My feet almost can touch the footrest on this highchair! I'm so excited that I am growing bigger. I practice all the cool things that a bigger kid does whenever I can. Usually when I am in my crib.

My Tante' provides me with all my stylish wardrobe. They were mostly my cousin Hana's and Heidi's clothes, so now I get to wear them. This Polo dress is SOOO me! Crazy and wild!

CHEESE! I love to smile. Especially now that I have 2 pearly whites to show off!!! I also LOVE to eat!!! Where's my food???

I am so happy to go out to eat. I love
getting all dressed up and going places.
I will try really hard to be a good girl
today since it's mommy's day! But I
can't promise anything! Come on
guys, I'm only 7 months old! I'm not
perfect!!!! But I'm awefully cute!!!

I love crawling around the house. I have
gotten really good at it. But I don't like
the hard floor. But I have figured out a way
that I can still get around in the kitchen without
hurting my knees. It's pretty clever, if I must
say so myself. In fact, I think I might try to
get around permanently on my feet. I think
there's something to this new development!

I love being a girl!

Mommy says that she wants to send this picture in for the cutest baby contest! Oh brother! Are all mommy's this obsessed with their babies? I mean, seriously, this is so NOT professional picture. I have my finger in my mouth! Which by the way, is the greatest invention EVER! Jesus must have known that when you start getting teeth, fingers are the best teethers!
I can also sit up by myself now! I still sometimes fall over when I start loosing my balance, but that's why mommy will always stay close by just in case I topple over!
This was a trick! Mommy put me in my crib and I thought that I had to go to bed....but luckily it was just for a picture opportunity! Phew! I wasn't ready to take a nap yet!

Yea! Mommy and Daddy dedicated me to Jesus!

Well, it's official! Mommy and daddy promised in front of everyone to raise me to love and follow Jesus! I was super excited. I love Jesus and I will definitely be a good girl for Jesus! Mommy and I went shopping and bought this special outfit for me to wear for church that day. It was a fun day. After everyone prayed for me, they sang my favorite song: "Jesus Loves the Little Children". I got really happy to hear my song!

I am 5 months old now!

Well, mommy has been really bad at updating all my adorable outfits each and every day. So I finally put my feet down and demanded that she share with everyone my favorite outfit! I am actually about to turn 6 months old pretty soon, but this picture was taken on my 5 month birthday! I am having tons of fun. I can roll over like it's no big deal. I now eat yummy sweet potatoes, carrots and peas (and they are sooooo good cause momma makes 'em)! My gums are really hurting me too now! Mommy says that it's because my teeth are coming in. I don't want teeth if it hurts like this! But everyday is something new. Momma and I are best of friends and we love to go shopping together and eat lunch at fun restaraunts!

Sleeping Beauty!

I am 4 months old now and I am being such a good girl (at least that's what I hear momma saying all the time)!! I take a 3 hour morning nap and a 3 hour afternoon nap every day and I sleep all night long. My parents are really happy about that, I can tell! I LOVE to talk. My momma says that I am a real "chatty kathy"....But I can't help it, I have so much to say. I really have fun now playing with my toys. I can reach out and grab my toys and I even try to put them in my mouth to see what they taste like! But life is still going great! I also like to hear mommy sing and I love when people talk to me. I giggle and smile at pretty much anybody that looks at me.

My cousins in Chicago!

So I FINALLY got to meet my 3 cousins over Christmas in Chicago. They were so much fun. They all would fight over who got to hold me and feed me. I felt very loved. My oldest cousin is named Hana Moriah and she is 8 years old! And then the only boy in the family is Hunter Cole. He is just about to be 7 years old. And then the baby, well before I was born, is Heidi Noel. Heidi is 2 years old! And then I came along, Kate Embry!!! I think my boppy and papa had a good time with all of us together. I sure did!

I absolutlety love my cousin, Heidi. She would talk to me and hug me and even help give me a bath when I was in Chicago! She was always sure that I had my plug in my mouth, which I thought was really nice of her! I wish I could see her more often. I would love to play with her every day. I hope I can be like her when I grow up!!

The happiest baby in the world!

So mommy and daddy took me to Chicago to see my boppy and papa and Tante' and cousins!!! I LOVED it. I smiled the whole 2 weeks I was there! It just is the best feeling to smile. I get so excited that I can't help but kick my legs and wave my arms aorund. I hope I get to go back there really soon!

I think my momma thinks that I'm her dolly, cause she is always dressing me up all pretty and taking pictures of me all day long. I like posing for the pictures sometimes, but a girl has to rest!

I love being 3 months old!

Life is soooo good. I can now talk to my mommy and daddy and play with my cool toys. I have so much fun playing all day with momma. I don't know what I did when I was a newborn, because it's so much more interesting now! I still like to sleep a lot though. I can only stay awake for maybe 2 hours, and then I need to rest for a couple hours!

Boppy and Kate!

I had so much fun in Chicago visiting my boppy and papa. They are so cool! They loved spoiling me and holding me. I didn't want to leave them. I even got to see my first snow! It was beautiful and cold. I could definitely get used to it!

My first Thanksgiving!

I had so much fun on Thanksgiving! I was held the WHOLE day. I don't really know who all held me, but it was stilll great. It actually snowed and mommy and daddy took me outside so I could see it for the first time. It was so pretty. Momma said that I'll be seeing a lot more snow in a couple more weeks when we go to Chicago! I can't wait.
