Songs for Kate
Little Sailor!
This dress was my niece's when she was a baby and I absolutely love it. Kate just loves having pictures taken of her! Gosh, I wonder where she gets that from??!! haha
My Happy Baby!
As long as Kate is being held or talked to, she is the happiest and easiest baby in the world. But don't mess around with trying to put her down and walking away.... She has started her attachment disorder with me. It is very tiring, but also endearing. It's sweet that she loves me so much, but sometimes mommy needs a break!
Security bumper pad!
Kate goes to sleep in her crib while she plays with the satin fringe on top of the bumper. It's so cute. My sister made her bedding, so I think it's so sweet that she looks for the satin every time in order to fall asleep!
Pillow Bumper Pad!
Kate also will use the bumper pad as a pillow every now and then. It's usually after I have let her cry herself to sleep, this is how I find her.
Independent girl!
Yea! This was one milestone that I was excited for. Kate can now hold her own bottle! But of course, she plays dumb most of the time so she can relax! But when time is neccessary, she will hold onto it!
Best Friends!
Emma and Kate LOVE eachother. I have never seen a baby who is more aware of dogs! She giggles and screams when she sees Emma. And Emma licks her like a crazy.
Inseparable!
Yet another picture of the two girls. Wherever Kate is, Emma is not far! Emma actually gets very alarmed if I walk away from Kate and leave her by herself!

Denim Dress
My sister, Tania, has been so gracious to give Kate all of her little girl clothes. This is one of them! A Baby Guess dress! It is adorable.
Daddy Daycare!
I work every Tuesday at the hospital and every other Saturday. The Saturdays I work, Dave gets "baby" duty! And this is what it usually looks like!!! They are really bonding!!!
Kate's first trip to downtown Chicago!
We had so much fun in Chicago visiting my family! One day, Dave and I took Kate on the train downtown and spent all day in 20 degree weather. Kate absolutely loved it. She slept the whole day we were down there! She definitely has the northern blood in her!!
Baby Gap!
We take a picture every month of Kate's birthday in the same black and white chair. It's so fun to see how much bigger she is getting in that little chair! This was taken on January 6, her 3 month birthday.

Summer dress in November!
Kate and I played dress up the other day and we had so much fun. Texas is still warm enough for this summer dress. Kate has been the greatest addition to our lives. I am having so much fun with her.
Baylor Bound!
We had a great time last weekend at homecoming. Dave and I got to introduce Kate to all our friends. She was the hit of the weekend! She is such an easy traveler so far. We will be going to many more homecomings to come!!!

My best high school friend made Kate this hat. It is so cute on her! It keeps her little head nice and warm in this beautiful fall weather. Thanks Aunt Jacki.....
We love our sling!
Kate loves to snuggle up in her sling. This is the way we get her to sleep when she has already eaten and still fussy! I guess she still feels like she is in the womb!

Here Dave and I are with Betty, our amazing midwife, holding Kate. I truly feel blessed to have met Betty and to have had her a HUGE part of our birthing story! She is a precious friend of ours now! I plan on all my next babies to be birthed by her!

Daddy is already "scolding" his daughter. We are VERY ready to have Kate in our arms. I asked Dave yesterday if he wouldn't mind holding her for a couple hours now!! He just laughed. She weighs approximately 6.5 Ilbs. right now. Dave likes to be goofy with Kate even now!
Aunt Nene'
This is my best friend, Rene'. She is excited to meet Kate. Rene' and I were college roommates at Baylor and became instant sisters! Dave and I love going to Waco to see her and stay at her nice "pad"!! We love her, and we know that Kate will too!

I love being a mommy. Kate is such a good baby. She makes my life so much more fulfilling. This picture was taken on Thanksgiving Day. We went to Possum Kingdom where Dave's family has a log cabin. It ended up snowing all day long. It was a beautiful and cold day.
Daddy and Kate
Dave loves having a daughter. I feel bad for Kate when she is older because Dave is not going to be easy when it comes time for dating!!! Now that Kate is smiling and more interactive, Dave is loving it. He can't wait to actually play with her. He has no problem changing diapers or feeding her. Kate is one lucky little girl!
The Singletary Clan!
Kate was honored to have mommy and daddy's friends come all the way from California to visit her the week after she was born. Mike and Kim Singletary have 7 kids, so the house was pretty crowded but we had soooo much fun.

Dave's favorite part of being a daddy is just cuddling with her on his chest. He likes when she is sleeping or quiet!!!! But then again, I do to! Kate loves her daddy!

Here are some more pictures from our first 2 days home with Kate. The bottom left picture was our first moment meeting our daughter. I labored and delivered her in the tub. It was absolutely amazing!! We were so excited to finally get to see what she looked like!

How fun to see the monthly changes as Kate grows! She is VERY active and is now moving to where my stomach moves all over the place! Being pregnant is the coolest thing ever! I already love my little girl more than words can describe.

Cabo San Lucas
Our last "outing" before Kate arrives. We went to Cabo San Lucas when I was 5 months pregnant for some R&R. We stayed in this beautfiul suite overlooking the ocean. We had a great time just the two of us! As you can see, we got really dark!
The beginning of the nursery!
Daddy worked soooo hard on preparing Kate's nursery. He painted the top half of the wall a deep red, and then placed white bead board on the bottom half. It was an ALL night event! But we had a lot of fun.

Kate is VERY blessed to have an extremely talented Auntie!!!! My sister, Tania, made her crib bedding. It is absolutely breath-taking. Now if only Kate will learn to not spit-up or make a mess!!!haha! We LOVE Tante (that is what Kate's gonna call her)!

Everything is ready for her arrival! She has a closet full of clothes (thanks again to Tante and Heidi!!!) and parents super excited to hold her and kiss her!

Our sweet baby girl! It was amazing to see her moving around and sucking on her hand. She is so cute (of course, I'm a little partial!!!) The bottom middle picture looks EXACTLY like Dave when he is sleeping. But I think that the profile of Kate resembles me. We'll have to wait until October 8th to see (well, whenever she decides to come into the world).

Oh my gosh! It must be so fun dressing a girl! Have a wonderful Christmas season! We are going to take Nolan to see Santa this week too!
